🌊Test scene - Delmar meets Henry
Added 2021-07-02 03:06:47 +0000 UTCWatching Luca did some good for me in the sea beast zone >:^} this is a continuation of a scene I shared earlier - Kintal takes Henry and the other stranded sea beasts at the lighthouse to Delmar's secret island where sea beasts can hide in safety. Henry caught a glimpse of Delmar under the water, but overall has no idea who he is or what he's with sea beasts for.
The expressions hold a lot for me in this page! It was a lot of work to get them just right. I tried to go for a deep recognition, not like seeing someone for the second time but seeing something in someone that you know about yourself. This story has lots of non-binary / transitional metaphor in it and I wanted to get that across in this look of two "sea beast humans" seeing each other.
