Ciao amici come state?

Domani mattina alle ore 9:15 ci ritroveremo, con i GRANDE CUCULO, per la nostra diretta del venerdi.

Sono appena tornata dal Guggenheim e sono stata colpita ed ispirata da un artista in particolare che si chiama Jeff Koons,

artista statunitense noto per le sue opere di gusto kitsch, che illustrano ironicamente l'American way of life e la sua tendenza al consumismo. Viene inoltre considerato un'icona dello stile neo-pop e riconosciuto fra gli artisti più ricchi del mondo.

Due principalmente le opere di cui ho scattato le fotografie: PUPPY scultura pubblica per attrarre incessantemente, per creare ottimismo e per infondere, per usare le sue parole, "fiducia e sicurezza".

TULIPS , un bouquet di palloncini multicolori gonfiati fino a raggiungere proporzioni gigantesche trasformati da un banale oggetto gonfiabile in qualcosa di duro, scintillante e iconico riportandoci all'infanzia.

Tra l'altro ho scoperto che è stato il marito di Ilona Staller, nota anche come La Cicciolina (ex star del cinema per adulti e parlamentare italiana).

Domani parleremo di pop art o meglio di sculture e quadri che hanno lasciato in voi una emozione particolare.

Hello friends, how are you?

Tomorrow morning at 9:15 we'll meet again with GRANDE CUCULO for our Friday live broadcast.

I just returned from the Guggenheim and was struck and inspired by one artist in particular, Jeff Koons,

an American artist known for his kitsch-inspired works, which ironically illustrate the American way of life and its tendency toward consumerism. He is also considered an icon of the neo-pop style and recognized as one of the richest artists in the world.

I photographed two works in particular: PUPPY, a public sculpture designed to constantly attract, create optimism, and instill, in his own words, "trust and security."

TULIPS, a bouquet of multicolored balloons inflated to gigantic proportions, transformed from a banal inflatable object into something hard, shiny, and iconic, taking us back to childhood.

By the way, I discovered that he was the husband of Ilona Staller, also known as La Cicciolina (former adult film star and Italian parliamentarian).

Tomorrow we'll talk about pop art, or rather, sculptures and paintings that have left a special impression on you.
