May I present track number 3 from the ARCANA EP - The High Priestess. One of my favourite cards, this represents looking inwards, and the future as yet unrevealed.
Once again, in Cath's words:
This has been an important card for me in more recent years, as I focus more on nurturing my intuition and trusting my inner wisdom. It emphasises the importance of trusting your inner voice, especially when navigating difficult and complex situations - sometimes our best guides already exist within us, we just need to learn to listen. The call-and-response structure of the first half of the song represents a dialogue with that inner wisdom - she calls you to be still and listen to the wisdom within. Halfway through, the song shifts into a descent into ourselves, an emotional underworld, where we can find those deeply buried uncomfortable truths (the change happens when the High Priestess asks us to "seek the great below"). Mishkin and I were thrilled to work with our friend Third Bloom to produce and mix this track.
