ARCANA - RUIN

To my dearest demons,

We're moving on now with song #2 from the ARCANA EP with Catherine Elms. As we haven't added the real drums yet this is going to be a more demo version but plenty going on for you to enjoy! My personal favourite bit is the 5/4 breakdown at the end and all the overlapping voices. What do you think?

In Cath's words... RUIN (10 of swords)

The Ten of Swords seems bleak at first glance, but to me it signifies the end of a difficult time in your life, and the beginning of something new. When you hit rock bottom and you've been stuck in that place of sorrow and victimhood, you eventually realise that the only way left is up, and you don't need to wait for someone to save you, you can save yourself. Even in the darkest night, there is a new dawn coming on the horizon.
