Custodian Pack Update

Before we get to this new Advent goon(who is part of the Custodian Pack), the progress report on the Custodian pack, all the localization is finished, to be honest this took unnecessarily long simply because i didn't feel like typing all the text needed for the Autopsies/Research and i kept procrastinating, but it is finished now, i have also finished the images for the research. Now, onto what's left, to be honest the more i do the more i remember stuff that needs doing, for example, next thing that'll take a bit of time is the images for the corpses, forgot i had to make those, in fact i forgot i had to make the corpses until i was making the research stuff, another thing i forgot about was making icons for the vest, grenade, flechette and destroyer gauntlet for the inventory/engineering, those are all made now with the exception of the destroyer gauntlet, since i will need to make a model for the projectile so i can put it in the icon. 

Another thing i forgot was that i had originally planned to make a Chosen Strength that allowed them to summon Custodians, however i have now discarded that idea, the reason is that the Chosen could get that as their first strength since it's random, and obviously we wouldn't want a Chosen spawning Custodians in your first retaliation mission right? So i could make weaker variants of the Custodians for the first force levels but that doesn't seem right, so the Chosen wont get to summon Custodians.

And finally, the last thing that i had forgotten about was that i'll need(well not really, but i want to) make a sit rep for fighting Custodians, now originally in my head i planned to make it so their sit rep would take place in a facility map/plot whatever, but i'm not 100% sure i can do that, so i had the epiphany of coming up with an alternative in case that doesn't work out, and thus we come to the featured guy above.

The Advent Courier, the idea for the sit rep is that Custodians are escorting this guy and you show up to ruin their party, i don't plan to have like fancy objectives or a special mission for this though, from what i understand making new mission types is a ton of work and do we really want to spend more time on this mod? Well i don't, i have Mutons to make lol. In any case, this guy will only show up on those sit reps, he is not going to be particularly strong, he'll use an SMG(you might recognize this as the Tier 2 SMG Pathfinders use) and he'll have a lot of mobility, and when he dies he'll drop a bunch of intel, or supplies, or both or something. In any case, if everything goes well then there will be 3 Custodian sit reps, the one with this guy, the one where you just fight a bunch of Custodians in a facility, and one with the Exalted Custodians, just 1 squad of Exalted Custodians though i wont make you fight an army of them.

Also i gotta say it was a bit fun to make this guy, he doesn't have anything new on him, it's just a recolored Advent Trooper with a Pathfinder SMG, the Spider mask from Anarchy Children and the Reaper's backpack, it took like 30 minutes to make him lol.

So, this is the plan at the moment: Icon for the Destroyer Gauntlet->Corpse Images->Mk2 Custodian ability and weapon icons->Sit Rep stuff->Reveal animations->Make sure everything works again->Release

I feel like i've been saying this a lot but, almost there lol. Anyway stay tuned for more and i'll be seeing you again soon.
