Mobile rig!

Hey folks! Martín here.

This week I've been visiting my home in Colombia because of my sister's wedding. I thought I'd share what my mobile rig looks like!

I have to start with the most important element of my rig. That is my computer, since that's where I have all of the sessions that have the music we're working on. It's also my main work computer, so bringing it along is a no-brainer. My computer would be pretty useless without my hard drive that has a lot of the samples and things I use for work and OkGn stuff as well. That's a no-brainer too.

I also have my 5 year old noise cancelling headphones with me, which are not the best for mixing or critical listening, but they work great when I don't have a designated workspace. They are also great for working on a plane, or when I'm just trying to get some me time.

I also bring along a little case that has all of my cables, usb keys, adapters, guitar picks, etc. This is also something I bring with me everywhere.

Those four things are basically indispensable for any type of traveling. The next ones I'll list I can leave behind or decide to bring with me depending on the type of work I have to do.

I try to travel with the bare minimum and so far I haven't missed anything! What's something that you guys always travel with?

Hope you have lots of fun at the wedding! My sister's getting married next year and looking forwards to it. I'd say I'm great at packing but bad at deciding what to pack. I tend to prepare for all eventualities. Whenever I travel, I always bring my red panda plush with me, a gift from a friend 4 years ago. I can't say I have a good reason for bringing it, other than sentimental value. But I do like the idea that it's a very well traveled plush :)
