2020-05-30 16:17:35 +0000 UTCIf anyone's curious about "sincere"/"without wax", which M&C doubted last episode and which appeared in this week's episode, I pulled out my Oxford English Dictionary (Condensed) . The Editors go out of their way to say that "sincere" does NOT come from "without wax." They seem quite adamant on pointing that out. Not to be too hard on DB for this, but it's still fun to point out and stick your nose in the air, especially when he got the Spanish communion time wrong, upshifting vs downshifting a bus's gears, Columbus' relic being in Seville, Columbus being sainted by the Catholic church... and all those other things he got wrong because his blind, rabid hatred of Seville prevented him from doing 2 minutes of research into anything. https://i.imgur.com/43Uld9s.jpg
