Quarantine Mini 18 - Unplayable
Added 2020-04-05 02:23:49 +0000 UTCHow do the names Charles-Valentin Alkan and Marc-André Hamelin strike you? As being thirty-three percent too long and having unnecessary dashes? You're right! But let Mike explain why even though they're french they might warrant your attention.

2020-04-05 05:46:28 +0000 UTCAlkan was apparently friends with Chopin, and (I think) you can definitely hear some of his influence—there’s a part you played that sounds like Chopin’s Polonaise No. 6, which was very cool. Also, Alkan died by being crushed under his own bookcase the fell on top of him, which is less interesting and mostly very sad.
