Harris went to talk to his editor but he didn't like what he saw so he took him to see them, the people who oversaw what he did, and he said that he wasn't so sure that what he did was up to the standards of what they wanted, even if he did, which he didn't. But they did. So then they agreed that they didn't care what they thought, it was up to him!

Light Feather was so confused by what she’d just heard - all those masculine pronouns did nothing to help with the intelligibility of the many statements entangled by a lack of punctuation or breathing - that briefly, just briefly, the lustful light left her eyes and she stared blankly into the bright blue sky, asking the Great Spirit for help.
