Japanese tester tracks now available!
Added 2025-10-02 16:31:56 +0000 UTCHello dear supporters!
If you’re desperate to get started with Japanese and don’t want to wait for the official release, I'm here to let you know that tracks 1-8 of Introduction to Japanese have been released in tester (video) mode, which you can find here! I’ll also record and release up to track 15 for checking this month, so be sure to subscribe to the YouTube channel if you want to hear about that right away!
I've made this 'pre-release' in an effort to attract more attention from native speaker volunteers, and to spur learners on to spread the word that I'm looking for volunteers! When teaching languages I don’t speak myself, I rely heavily on native speaker feedback. I wish it was as easy as studying the grammar books and reordering it all with The Thinking Method, but unfortunately, grammar books don’t do a very good (or honest!) job of explaining most things - and so a massive part of my work is reframing (or rehauling) how we understand a language. For this, I depend on native speaker volunteers to help me test my ideas. The more I have, the quicker this course will be released in full and so if you want this course out sooner, please do keep spreading the word! :)
And finally, remember to give me a shout if you would like to claim any perks (Interlinear ebooks or the cool sharer/goody packs)!
All the best and thanks again for all your support!

I would love to volunteer in any way I can, if you’re still looking for support :)
