This changes everything!

Hello dear supporters of Language Transfer and The Thinking Method!

I’m more than excited to announce that there are now 6 tracks (1.5 hours) of ‘Introduction to Music (Theory)’ online, and so we are now officially branched out!!!

Whether you think you might be interested in music or not, please give the intro track a listen and see if you don’t want to continue on the journey! I promise a world of unexpected awe and wonder just like the one you maybe weren't expecting to find behind language. This really is a game changer and if you have any doubts about this new direction, about LT and The Thinking Method branching out into other areas beyond language, I only ask you to get into these tracks! Here's the Youtube Playlist: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLeA5t3dWTWvtw_zWEIB-8OcE_gskyU2Yl

With the music course, potential future Thinking Method teachers can now see the method in action in a new context, and start thinking about what that might mean for their own subject areas. With this move and the guidebook publication, important steps have been taken to open up The Thinking Method and its principles to the world of education. It is my hope that we will get to enjoy many things, from physics to economy to gastronomy, through entirely and wildly new lenses!

Thank you all once again for all your support and as always, to claim any perks or cast votes (if you are yet to vote) please shoot me a message!

Hug beams, or something!!

Agreed. The amount of reflected sound and overmodulation makes it particularly hard to listen to when in an environment that isn’t quiet (e.g. on a bus), which is often where I want to be listening to these courses.

I'm really excited about this one, as I'm just getting back into playing the piano and have never been able to wrap my mind around even the basics of music theory. Thanks so much for doing this, Mihalis! As someone who produces podcasts for a living, I might be overly critical, but I think there's a mismatch between the quality of the content and the quality of the audio recording. Professional, clean audio would make the course much more accessible and easier to follow. I'd be happy to help you get the audio to a higher level, both by donating funds for a better mic and by helping out in terms of mastering / post-processing. Let me know if you'd be up for that, Mihalis!

You hit this one “out of the park”! Awesome! I previously used your Spanish course!
