Middle Grade Graphic Novel!!
Added 2025-04-09 18:57:36 +0000 UTCHey all! I am so pleased to announce that I am in conversation with Scholastic to start working on a middle grade graphic novel! This is in the very early stages (like I havenβt even made a proposal) BUT I am SO BEYOND EXCITED!!! π±πβ¨π
I have been deep diving into my not so great middle grade years (12-14 yrs old) looking for inspiration. I plan on focusing the book on my struggles with an eating disorder, depression, anxiety, bullying, neglect and divorce.
To be honest, there are parts of my childhood that are simply too painful for me to include in a book like this, but I do want to deep dive into hard topics that kids can relate to.
