I do watch and subscribe to several of the "HEY, WHAT'S UP!?!?", big personality channels. Those are a lot of fluff, and firework, and entertainment. People will tune in to see their latest (mis)adventures, and that's fine. But I'll keep saying it as long as I need to: Since 2010, the ONLY CHANNEL that has consistently taught me about Japan; prepared me to visit, to go about and "do stuff", to beware of the important cultural do's and don'ts, and how to relate to Japanese people and maintain their friendships, is your channel. (And my relationships with my Japanese friends of many years have been life changing, and they have made it clear to me that they recognize and appreciate the effort I put in to understanding and accepting their culture.) I subscribe to many channels, but yours is the only one I support. Every YouTuber is their own product, and everyone is free to pick and choose whom they enjoy to watch. But it's probably very true that those of us who are here enjoy the things that you do, and how you do them. You've created a whole "TJC Universe" over the years, what with the "Unskilled-X" videos and "barky dogs", the rice fields, "Japanglish" and nature & environment, flying & driving vids, etc. You've got your own style, and your own audience. And I sure don't have +110K people waiting to hear what I have to say every day. Keep doing what you do, Ed. You've been an awesome teacher, and trainer. I (and I am sure "we") genuinely appreciate the effort you make and the passion you have. Here's to continued success, and more videos. (Coming, soooon.)
