Added 2024-06-19 16:00:13 +0000 UTCHi everyone! An unusual piece emerges, as promised. I am still thinking about wether or not this scene is based in Argenta as well. Introducing a folk with wings who can fly would change the whole economy, culture, possibilities and such in the whole world. Not that I'm really knees deep in worldbuilding, but it feels a bit like standing at a crossroad.
The most logical thing would be a "no" though, as if it's not a "hell yes", then it should usually be a "no".
I hope the water turns out fine, it is rather hard to draw with lineart, and I'm still thinking about the design of the flying folk. But time, or rather the process will tell - no need to plan out everything perfectly right from the start, or there is no flexibility to go on creative detours whatsoever. All in good measure of course, you can't just suddenly introduce a Godzilla in the background :).

Godzilla can also appears if that book, or any other, also teaches the wizard how to summon portals to other realms/dimensions/planets... 🤔😊

And your main character is a wizard, after all: they coulkd be visible just to him, or only when performing a certain spell he just discovered undusting a book in a hidden magic library, which would explain why these beings only appear now 🤔
