blood stain sketches and wips

New pages are coming at the end of the month, as are the 5$ tier pages :3
the 3rd and 4th image is a guide i made for myself so the coloring would be more consistet. (i often forget what colors to use) No idea if any of you find this interesting or helpful but I'm adding it anyway xD

additionally I added last months full layouts in sketch form as I wrote them originally if any of you wanna compare them to the newer ones :3

so basically i have 4 layers, one bg /one character and the remaining two are the shading layers.
I will put a clipping mask on a character so i don't color over the edge of their form.
ThenI add these ugly colors with normal brush, while i add subtle highlights with different brush options on top of that (hard light/overlay linear-light)
sometimes if my colors are too depressing looking I will add some color tinting on an overlay layer above the whole picture (color overlay 56% one)
