My interpretation of the broken cupboard is basically an open wound. Debbie and Mark didn't really properly process or rather find closure regarding what happened last season with Omni-Man. In the last episode, Debbie goes to her room and cries while Mark goes out with his friends and then goes to space and talks with Allen. You can kind of assume they just resumed life without really discussing what happened.
I think this moment is basically them acknowledging that they are both still struggling but are now on the road to supporting each other and recovering from the trauma.
Look forward to your guys' reaction to these next two episodes! The second half of season 2 has also been great stuff.

Like I said last episode. I have very mixed feelings about this season, but the one thing I feel the show does a great job on is the character of Debbie. She really shines for me, like they really allow you to just sit with her, in her grief and just process it with her, and it's really good. She's my favorite part of this season by far. I honestly don't know how I feel about Immortal, like there is something just off with him for me, like I really just don't enjoy his character but I don't think the writers are intentionally making him off putting, like I think he's supposed to be a good guy, but he just rubs me the wrong way, and I know they treated his relationship with Kate as a joke here but nothing about it was funny to me, it was weird.

The Dad is stupid and "old fashioned", but he was 100% right. Eve cant go through life taking short cuts. Using her powers to help is great, but relying on it so casually without thinking things through is bad. Also to me the Dad wanting to provide for his family (working minimum wage jobs) instead of taking the easy "immoral" way out isnt toxic.

It can win after a few polls, outstanding shows aren’t a lot a bit of time and there would be a good chance for it to win

Eve’s Dad wanting to provide for his family reminds me of Walter White, specifically the scene where Walter Jr. sets up the donation website for Walt’s Cancer and Walt calls everyone’s money charity. Of course I don’t think Eve’s Dad will ever have the character development of Walter White lol but their toxic way of wanting to provide for their families at any cost even if it’s a detriment to the family is something I noticed on rewatching this episode with you girls.

Yeah, I don't see Outlander winning any poll here (or on any reactor channel). I am sure the patron community of this channel differs from the Starz viewer community who "voted" for Outlander over Black Sails.
For the 4 seasons (2014-2017) of Black Sails, the average number of US viewers per episode was about 650,000.
For the first 4 seasons (2014-2019) of Outlander, the average number of US viewers per episode was about 1,200,000.
I think there is a chance that Milena and Lola might would like Outlander better than Black Sails. Don't know. I believe they like Battlestar Galactica, which while obviously not the same as Outlander, Outlander has the Ron D Moore touch. He made uncanny choices of the actors and story development.

I appreciate the passion but I don't think Outlander has a chance lol. Black Sails lost 3 polls and its a better show.

Maybe so. As you may have noticed, I didn't say that Outlander is better than Black Sails, but that Outlander is Starz No. 1 series (at least in terms of number of viewers). (There are some newer Starz series raking in the views.) More Starz viewers preferred Outlander over Black Sails.
To me, it's not a choice between Outlander and Black Sails (both excellent), but that Outlander could fall next-in-line after Black Sails. The Ron D Moore genius permeates Outlander.

Ronald D Moore [the creator of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA (2004–09)] is a driving force (executive producer) of OUTLANDER (2014-present) that I recommend.
OUTLANDER is arguably the No. 1 series by Starz, even over the excellent Starz series BLACK SAILS, including to have more viewers than BLACK SAILS.
OUTLANDER is based on a popular book series. Time travel, action, intrigue, scenery, history, architecture, food, and a love story or two.
The majority (50+%) of the audience of the OUTLANDER TV series is female (compared to 36% for BLACK SAILS).
The lead character in OUTLANDER is an empowering female. She narrates (rare for a show to have a female narrator). She won Saturn Award for Best Actress in a Television Series, and nominated for Golden Globe for Best Actress.
OUTLANDER. RT=91% IMDb=8.4.
--Nominated for 34 Saturn Awards.
--Winner of Saturn Award for Best Action/Thriller Television Series.
--Winner of Saturn Award for Best Fantasy Television Series.
--Nominated for 4 Emmy's.
--Nominated for 6 Golden Globes.
RT critic consensus
"Outlander is a unique, satisfying adaptation of its source material, brought to life by lush scenery and potent chemistry between its leads."
