I suppose he's correlating today's GOP members who are evangelical Christians as well. According to the most wildly accepted interpretation, in the end, the nation of Israel will acknowledge Jesus Christ as their lord and savior in which someone, the Anti-Christ may be, will destroy the country. That's probably incorrect somewhere, but that's about as close as I can get.
