today is #thankyoupatrons day and of course i want to join in on sending you guys a message of love <3

thank you to everyone who is a patron; who has been a patron; or who plans to one day become a patron. no matter the sum you've pledged, i am incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. your support has made a world of a difference for me in the last year, in so many ways.

as you may know, i've been struggling financially for several years now, so of course the monetary support means a lot--it has a very tangible effect on my life. every single dollar counts towards making me less stressed out and anxious. having to worry less makes life so much more enjoyable, and my mental health has improved a lot lately.

but financial stuff aside--i have so many reasons to be grateful for you. every time i get the notification that a new person has pledged, i feel overjoyed and humbled by the fact that someone likes my art so much that they want to support me in creating it. i get so happy every time i see a like, and i love getting comments, i love interacting with you on this platform of ours. i am thrilled to see that more and more people are voting in the polls, that people have started suggesting monsters for the monster of the month polls, that you're asking me questions and replying to questions i ask you--it's wonderful to engage with you in this way! and whenever someone tells me that my process packs and tutorials are helpful and interesting, i feel so fulfilled--it feels fantastic to be able to give back to you. 

running a patreon with you as my support has boosted my belief in myself and my abilities. you are all so kind and understanding, and i feel safe with you, if that makes sense. you're one of the reasons my life is significantly better and happier than it was a year ago. thank you. <3
