ONE OK ROCK - Delusion:All REACTION

Sarah’s right. ‘Take What You Want’ is a Must Watch. Especially the live version from their ‘2018 Ambitions Japan Dome Tour’ (your ‘We Are’ reaction last Oct was from the same set of shows). There’s a poignant moment at the beginning of the song that’s a dedication to Chester from Linkin Park. One OK Rock was supposed to tour with them before Chester’s tragic passing. It’s a powerful performance.

I can’t wait to see them at Wembley this year

I found one ok rock about 18 months ago! And went on to see them in London last year! They are unreal and are in my top 3 bands! Check out their live performance of where ever you are! The start is dedicated to linkin parks Chester ❤️ the pause after the first verse is a moment of silence for him and you could hear a pin drop in the huge stadium!

I’m so happy you have reacted to one ok rock! I saw them live in London last year and they are amazing!! I would probably say where ever you are is the best one to react too ❤️

To me I interpreted the music and video to be more about how minorities, not just racially but also gender, sexuality, class, etc, tend to continue to be beaten down by people in power, which unfortunately is majority white people at least in America. I'm mixed, queer, biologically female, neurodivergent, and grew up not necessarily poor but my mom used to regularly go to food banks because sometimes we struggled to be able to afford food so definitely on the lower income side. Minorities especially people of color, women, people with mental health issues (especially neurodivergent people), and lower income people tend to be less believed by people in positions of authority. That paired with the people in power, especially political power, trying to keep those minorities where they are and keep them divided because if we're being honest if all different minorities were to unite against them it would most likely mean those people in power would lose their power, authority, and wealth. I feel like the song especially talks about how tiring it is to see all this divide around us and so many people wanting things to be better but feeling like those people at the top don't give a shit about us or how much we're struggling or how exhausting it is. I feel the music video also portrayed this because the people that are in the suits seem to be older, wealthy people in power, which is mostly white (in Forbes richest billionaires around the world 72% of the top 50 are white). Where as the people rioting are mainly younger people especially minorities, though there are a few white people in the crowd, I also believe several of those people were also in the background during the "vigil" scene of the MV. Rather than it just being about white people I took it as these younger people that aren't in a position of power from many different backgrounds are rioting against these rich people in power while said people in power are just enjoying a nice meal.

Very powerful!

again, a sentiment that is only expressed to people of my colour. However if any other race feels victimised by perceived notions of racism we must take them seriously? You’re proving my point, so the disappointment is mutual i can assure you.

Teddy Grey

no one is saying all white people are evil and no else is, this song is to call out police brutality against racial minorities, if you feel victimised, then that's on you. I'm disappointed honestly.
