Year is half over woooo

This is a tough ass year yall. Like so much crazy stuff going on back to back, and I'm pretty sure it's just gonna continue for a long time.

So anyway my next video is going to be a talky one about Slippi and Melee in general. I've been thoroughly enjoying slippi, and it's one of the few good things to come out of this year. I also wanna take it easy, because the two more scripted video essays I've done were a lot of work, especially the Doom video which was the most work in a video since the Direct, and not counting that might be one of the most work heavy videos on my channel.

After that I'm thinking of doing a sequel to Everything Wrong with Rivals called Everything Right with Rivals. Which'll be looking at all the positive reviews and talking about all the great stuff Rivals does.

After that then maybe get back to another scripted video essay, but who knows. This year has taught me not to plan ahead and just kinda try not to drown.

I don't want pity points, but in the spirit of keeping yall informed, things aren't the best for me financially at the moment. My job involved mentoring groups of kids, so even though a lot of other businesses are reopening, mine is still closed. Looking at the numbers of cases in the US though it seems like more things should be closed anyway. And on top of that I'm having issues with unemployment, and it's basically a lottery in my area if a call can actually get through, like it's crazy they don't even put you on hold for hours they will literally just tell you to try calling again later. So I'm still in the process of figuring that out, but on the plus side youtube and streaming is actually helping a lot in putting a dent in my bills and keeping me above water for now. I understand that I'm not the only person with issues like this so if you were gifted a twitch sub, or just can't continue to support me financially any more please don't feel bad.

Anyway on more positive notes, we just passed 21k youtube subs, and the channel is still growing really well. I look forward to making more videos and streaming, it's all still very fun for me. Thanks for reading and supporting me, stay safe out there, and see you on the flipping and/or flopping.
