Chapter 47 - I am Spider Tobey

It has been a month since Natasha joined us.
 She received a suit from Gwen, based on the design I made.
 I took inspiration from the Future Foundation Suit, and it suited her perfectly.
 Her pseudonym remained Black Widow.

We also gave her a system, and since we didn’t reset her abilities, she is the strongest among us for now.
 Since she was different from us—who had to grow stronger instead of just unlocking abilities—I had to make some adjustments to her system. But for someone as OP as me, that was easy.

With another player to share experience points, we had to start raiding gang hideouts and beating up hundreds of people daily. Fortunately, with Natasha using SHIELD’s intelligence, we easily located their lairs, did a lot of good for the city, and rescued many civilians from captivity.

Seeing people held captive almost made me break my restraints and change this world like I did in mine… but I didn’t. I can’t save every person in every universe, and I need to accept that as soon as possible.
 Of course, when my vacation trip is over, I probably won’t resist the urge to revive all the good people who suffered because I did nothing in this world and give them a good life.

But enough of that. Let’s take a look at our status.

Natasha only spent 32 points, upgrading her Krav Maga from Master to Grandmaster.
 As for the girls, they finally raised their main skills to Grandmaster.
 Ursula and Emily were very close to doing something fun that I asked them to, and Natasha's help was essential for that plan.

At that moment, Natasha, Gwen, and I were under a blanket, cuddled on the couch watching TV—with me in the middle.
 It was just the three of us for now. MJ was singing at a show she was invited to, and Emily and Ursula were in the lab finishing our personal project.

Over the past month, Natasha and I made good progress in our relationship, which is why we were comfortably cuddling on the couch now. Unfortunately, cuddling was the furthest we had gotten.
 If she were a regular girl living with a guy she liked, the relationship would have progressed much faster. But Natasha is a super-agent; she doesn’t fall so easily.

She has won a lot of affection from me and the girls. She has a great time swinging through the city at night and saving people with us. During the day, we run the diner together and have fun playing around. She is a joyful presence in our lives.

As a Black Widow, she never thought she would be able to enjoy such simple and ordinary moments—like working at a diner. And that touched her deeply.
 It was only because of these things that Natasha was able to open up enough to be lying so comfortably in my arms now.

While I was thinking about this, I couldn’t resist and, for the first time, kissed the top of Natasha’s head.
 She was surprised by the sudden gesture but quickly recovered, and then I saw a small, cute smile appear on her beautiful face.
 She then rubbed her face lightly against my chest, which made me smile softly at her.

Then I saw Gwen pouting at me. Amused, I laughed out loud and kissed the top of her head too.
 As we smiled and teased each other, something on the TV caught our attention.

A breaking news segment started, with a female reporter appearing on the screen.

“Good evening, I’m Laura Mendes, and this is a special edition of City News. We have breaking news that may surprise everyone. Through anonymous sources, City News has obtained exclusive information about the whereabouts of billionaire playboy and inventor Tony Stark.

After three long months of disappearance, Tony Stark was found this afternoon by military forces in the Afghan desert and is currently being escorted by a military plane back to New York. His estimated arrival is tomorrow morning.

Tony Stark is known as the CEO of Stark Industries, the world’s largest military weapons manufacturer. However, three months ago, he was attacked by terrorists while conducting a military weapons demonstration. For a long time, many believed he might be dead.

Unfortunately, we still have no information about what he went through during his disappearance.

The news logo flashed on the screen briefly before returning to the program we were watching.

The girls and I looked at each other, and I said, “Well, it’s been three months since we arrived, so Tony must have already built his armor.”

“So, we’ll soon have a robot fight to jump into, right?” Natasha asked with a smile, secretly surprised that we had actually predicted the future. She already believed almost everything we told her, but she was still taken aback by moments like this.

We told Nat a little about the future, but only things that should happen this year… which, as a spy, annoyed her greatly since she wanted more spoilers, but we refused to give them.
