Chapter 7 - New life in God of War

"We should get a mount first. Let's keep walking—a wolf should be comfortable," Hyperion said.
"You want to ride a wolf? You'll hurt it with your weight. And you said you're getting one, so are you planning to leave us on foot?" Faye asked, unable to understand what he was doing.
"Don't worry, it'll be a surprise, hehe," Hyperion said, amused.
Kratos said nothing, just followed along with furrowed brows, though curiosity flickered in her eyes. But she was startled when she felt two fingers placed between her brows, massaging the spot.
She quickly pulled away and looked at Hyperion with vigilance.
"Hurm, what are you doing?" Kratos growled.
"You're really beautiful. It's not good to keep frowning," Hyperion said with a smile.
"Hurrrmm, don't do that again." She growled even louder.
"I can't promise that, haha," Hyperion just laughed, unfazed.
Faye was also smiling at the scene, but she quickly stopped when she felt a finger pushing against her cheek, right where she had been smiling.
"What are you doing?" she asked, her eye twitching.
"Intimidating you! Haha!" Hyperion was having too much fun that day.
"Do you know how uncomfortable it is for a man I just met to put his finger on my cheek and treat me like we're close?" she said, a bit bitterly.
"Hummm, alright, I'll take it slower... Damn, you ruined my fun," he said, sulking, though mischief still shone in his eyes. He had no real intention of keeping his word.
With women, you should never be too passive.
They continued walking and talking while Hyperion soon broke his promise, teasing and playing with them as they got to know each other better.
"There's a wolf ahead. Please, don't hurt it," Faye said, looking forward, then turned to Hyperion with a hint of anxiety.
"Don't worry, I won't," Hyperion said sincerely, then looked ahead.
"Hey, girl, come here. We won't hurt you," he called out, using the gift he had gained after defeating Atreus in the arena.
Soon, the wolf cautiously stepped out of the brush, under the surprised gazes of the two women.
Hyperion petted the wolf while playing with her.
"Good girl! I'll call you Little White! Would you like to be big and powerful, to be able to protect your pack? In return, you'll be my mount—and my wives' mount as well," Hyperion said, and at the end, he pointed at the two women, whose lips twitched at being called that.
"Aooooohhhh!" That was a yes from the she-wolf. Wolves were intelligent creatures, but not that intelligent, so it was easy to make a deal when you could communicate with them.
"Alright, get ready to grow big!" He then filtered natural energy from the world and transferred it to the wolf.
He had gained control over natural energy after defeating the toads of Mount Myoboku in Naruto. And with his 100,000 times training speed, he had mastered natural energy in a way the Naruto world couldn't even imagine.
Hyperion used other abilities to ensure the she-wolf received all the benefits of the natural energy he was injecting—without exploding or turning into stone.
Soon, the wolf grew and grew. Her fur became a beautiful white, purer than snow, and her size soon surpassed even Garm’s.
He stopped her growth once she reached Garm's size, then used the energy to condense her strength at that size and granted her the ability to use her claws to open portals—just like Garm.
Natural energy, combined with thousands of abilities pushed to their absolute limits, had made this possible.
The women were stunned. Even hardened by countless battles, they couldn't stop their jaws from dropping at the sight of an ordinary wolf instantly transforming into a divine wolf.
"Tadaaa! Here is our mount!" Hyperion exclaimed, grinning atop the wolf's head.
"Woof, yes," barked—no, spoke—the now-enhanced Little White, in human language.
After recovering from her shock, Faye decided to talk to calm her heart. She then thought of something amusing and couldn’t help but say it out loud.
"It’ll be funny when people tell the legend of the terrible giant she-wolf... Little White pfffft," Faye joked.
Even Kratos couldn’t hold back, and a faint glimmer of amusement flickered in her eyes at the thought.
"Uhummm, you’re right. We can’t call her that. Her name—the one that will strike terror into our enemies—shall be... Nymeria," Hyperion said thoughtfully, remembering a certain short girl who named her wolf the same.
"Sounds like a good name, though I don’t understand its meaning," Faye said.
"Neither do I. I just thought it sounded cool, so I used it," Hyperion laughed.
They mounted the wolf’s soft fur and began their journey of exploration.

Before long, legends spread about three people riding Garm and exploring Midgard.
Everyone mocked the tales—even Odin himself laughed after confirming that Garm was still imprisoned.
Meanwhile, Hyperion traveled, fought monsters alongside the women, helped people, and enjoyed discovering new things.
During their adventure, Hyperion hypnotized Odin's ravens so they wouldn't bother them.
A year had passed since they began traveling together—living together day and night, battling and adventuring. And finally, Hyperion had managed to break through the walls around their hearts.
Surprisingly, Kratos was the first to fall. She didn’t realize it, but she longed for care and sincere love.
Faye, too, sought the same, but her mind was always clouded with prophecies and the heavy burden of her race on her shoulders.
But in the end, both women broke and accepted being Hyperion's—together.
