Love these. Hope to see you react to “Jeen-Yuhs” documentary about Kanye on Netflix currently.

Kendrick's line from Mortal Man applies really well to Kanye when he's goin crazy on twitter. "When shit hits the fan are you still a fan?" I don't find it hard to be a fan the man has given me about 20 years of great music. A few bad hot takes and hurting some celebs feelings isn't going to change that for me but it is painful to watch him destroy all the hard work he did rebuilding his reputation.

Speaking of Kanye performances, my absolute favourite was the Yeezus tour, though I may be biased because that's the only time I saw Kanye live but I remember it being a beautiful, artistic show. I'm surprised nobody recommended it after you listened to Yeezus.

Btw Bob im sure a bunch of ppl have mentioned it to you, but part 1 of the Kanye documentary 'jeen-yuhs' is up on Netflix now...its great, and part 1 is very early in his career, no spoilers for his later music so you dont gotta worry about that.

Did you watch the "We Were Once a Fairytale" short film by Spike Jonez? Kanye did a great job acting in that one. As much as Kanye has an ego, he's also extremely self-aware. Much more than the average person. He's willing to bear all of his flaws in pursuit of great art. He undresses himself in an orgy of vultures who want to destroy him and pick apart the corpse. Just to connect with something real.

Just so you know Never See Me Again was written after his Taylor Swift incident in 2009. 808s released in 2008. I'm guessing his mental state was at all time low after he not only lost his mom but got everyone to hate him.
