Rock and roll time! This song goes from a somber minor mode for the intro and verses, but then changes the mood for the chorus by switching to a major mode focus. There's even a key change for the bridge, plus some fairly challenging rhythms.

Thank you for your dedication. I think both Savatage and Virgin Steele are great and very underrated bands, they deserved much more success according to the quality of their production, and both the guitar guys can play technically and emotionally meanwhile.

Glad you find the tabs helpful :)
I'll give a listen to some songs from the albums you listed. Might take me a few weeks to have something prepared, depending on how challenging they turn out to be, but I will definitely get to them. Thank you for the suggestions!

Hi John, thanks for adding the tabs to your weekly lessons, it helps a lot. As you invite us to request I suggest whatever you like from Savatage, Chris Oliva's soling around the Gutter Ballet era is amazing. Also Virgin Steele around Invictus and Marriage of Heaven and Hell era delivered very good stuff.
