New Tiers

What's up, you swamp fairies. 

Going into this year, I'm going to delegate more and more of my video editing in order to free up time for (1) writing and (2) Patreon. Content on here, going forward, is going to be much, much more consistent and, with your help, better. That said, we need some input. 

In my head now, I see the full 45 minute or 1 hour bonus cuts of the main channel videos staying at the $5 tier. I assume that's what most people are here for, and we're going to keep the entry level tier cheap and high value to keep those people happy. 

Instead of a $25 tier, which right now is basically just for people with strong incomes who want to support the channel more, I'm planning on dropping it to $20, and adding more 2 more pieces of weekly content. Me, Ian, and Austin have all agreed that a weekly, Patreon exclusive version of the main channel live streams I do would be sweet. You guys can call in, we can take questions out of the chat, and in addition to that Austin and I will just be shooting the shit like we do on the main channel. Additionally, many people have expressed interest in a book club. My tentative plan for this is to go through canonical/important business and self-help books – me and you read them together – and afterwards, I post (1) a summary of the book and (2) we do a club live stream to talk about it in depth. I will be just as much a student as all of you on this one, and it won't come from a patronizing place. 

Finally, we have tentative plans for a $50 tier that likely won't go into effect for a month, but the idea here is to give (1) end-of-video credits like the $25 tier gets you now, and (2) a face-to-face Discord chat with me and all members of this tier several times a month. I'm not totally sure about this one. It's expensive, but if we drop the price, so many people will do it that it'll erase the intimate hangout feel that we're trying to shoot for. 

Thoughts? Complaints? Suggestions? How long does it take you guys to read a book? I'll be reading all of these responses, guys, and I'd really appreciate feedback! Also, thanks for helping make 2020 the best year of my life.
