The GIF above roughly shows the combat style of this game. It's a fast-paced 2D shooter where you jet pack and dash around, and every character in this game, including you, can get fatter! Instead of a health gauge, enemies have a fatness gauge that fills up. When it maxes out and they become immobile, they are automatically harvested. The mana from harvesting them becomes your exp points, used to upgrade your equipment and increase your stats.
I felt it was a shame that fitting a wide area on one screen made the characters look small. So I implemented a feature where the camera automatically zooms in and out based on the cursor position. However, this seems to cause a bit of dizziness, so I'm considering changing it to be controlled via the mouse wheel.
By the end of this month at the latest, you'll be able to play the first prototype. It will cover up to defeating the tutorial boss Maeve, and you should be able to immobilize at least 4 types of enemies. Of course, this version won't have the balance and other aspects fine-tuned yet, and is a stage for gathering your opinions on things like the controls, so I would appreciate it if you could actively provide feedback.
