Jeff Saturday is like hiring the team mascot as the coach. If you look at him as somebody who isn't supposed to be able to win the job, I suppose it makes sense.

JT - thanks for the thorough evals. My only complaint about Sam in college was the inopportune sack he would take when he presumably had an open check down. Thank you also for your thorough explanations on the run plays. Sometimes hard to see from the TV views.

There is a lot of controversy around the Patriots offense and Mac Jones. It's a comprehensive criticism of their offense in the macro and micro sense and on top of that Jones is not elevating folks (or at least that's what it looks like). There is a counter narrative that the playcalling, route combinations, spacing, gameplan, and pass pro is so bad that Mac is dead on arrival anyway. Would love to see what you think. FTR the last two weeks Mac was under pressure 38.5% of his dropbacks which is 10th worst in the NFL for starting QBs. So bad but not horrendous.

Not only gets people fired, but gets Jeff Saturday hired.
All joking aside, I’m a BIG fan of Jeff Saturday and am rooting for him. Despite the odds.
