They all speak it fluently (they all did their own English dubbing for Netflix). The ones with the lesser characters are interesting too. The actor who plays Alex had an interesting background, and to my surprise, is trans.

I am grew up in Denmark, but live in America. I understand a great deal of Swedish, because the languages are similar, plus we have lots of Swedish ex-pat friends here.

I'm so happy & proud of him that he felt comfortable & safe to do that, because how much he wishes or not to share now is entirely up to him & I hope he knows that. It was also something that he brought up himself & wasn't intruded upon by the interviewer which I respect.

A pretty remarkable day for the cast considering how well it's done in that short amount of time. In the interview the interviewer & Edvin reflect on the last year, the success of the show, and the changes that has brought to Edvin's life, both personally & professionally. Super interesting interview, it's a shorter one too so I highly recommend!

Malte seems so laid back and such a genial soul that it’s even more amazing that he’s so intense and detestable as August. I don’t think I have ever seen better chemistry than that between Edvin and Omar, on screen or off screen. 🫠❤️ About more extra content: I agree with Lane that the Josh Smith ‘Reign’ content is excellent. He asks thought provoking questions which provoke thoughtful answers, unlike some of the interviewers out there. The ones with Omar and Edvin individually are great and in the back catalogue are individual ones with Joe and Kit from Heartstopper, too, also really interesting and fun. I think Lane has given the links for Edvin’s and Omar’s but I will look for the links to the ones with Joe and Kit. 🤔 Not sure where I saved them…

And apparently Malte is a real sweetheart in real life. There is a lot of good extra content out there, including podcast episodes with both Edvin and Omar on the Reign with Josh Smith podcast (sections of both are also on YouTube). I’m on my iPad right now which is harder to link from, but I’ll do that as soon as I get back to my desktop – yes, I’m old-school and have a desktop rather than a laptop. P.S. My particular favourite is a podcast with Edvin on the Tom & Petter podcast which has now had nearly 300,000 views!. They knew each other before the interview so the whole atmosphere was completely relaxed with some great stories coming out from Edvin. Tom & Petter have also done a podcast with Omar on his own and later there was a podcast with both Edvin AND Omar together on the couch.
