Added 2018-04-26 00:34:20 +0000 UTCalright so this video's sort of a mess (just like me right now lol), but basically I've been told that releasing songs early on Patreon could hurt my chances of finding industry interest because (even though they'd only be release for you all!!) that would mean three of the songs of my record would technically count as *released*, and basically industry people want never before heard stuff. ANYWAY super bummed that I shouldn't put them out yet, and also super bummed that I said I'd do a thing and now i won't be doing quite that thing, that was totally on me, I should have checked with everyone first it honestly didn't even occur to me that it would be an issue?
I've been given the enthusiasm thumbs up, that as a substitution for *releasing* the three songs early, I can instead do three live-stream Listening Parties! One in May, one in June, one in July, playing one new song in the stream for each show! Naturally, please don't record these, it's a way to share with you, the people making this launch the biggest success it can be, but super important the songs don't get leaked! I thought i might do two live streams for each song, one morning my time and one evening to give everyone the best chances of hearing (who are in different timezones!)
Let me know what you think of this! Wanted to give everyone the heads up too just incase that was the only reason you pledged (you can still cancel your pledge before May 1st and you won't be charged (I'm pretty sure, I should really stop saying things before I check with people)).

The livestream idea is a solid choice. If possible, have each one at distinctly different times in the day to accommodate timezone differences.
