Dear Tessa,I found your patreon page by accident or was it?....The way that i see things is that the universe moves in certain truths which tend to transcend what people think everything is....I am 53 and have been through the late seventies and eighties london scene which included art,music,clubs,films etc....I must say that i learned a lot on my journey through life as a teenager growing up in England at a time when the new wave of art,music,films etc was being creating.One of the main things i learnt was that people tend to be very selfish and egocentric, narcissistic to the extent that they think the whole universe eveolves around them,These people have some serious issues and i would advice you to watch out for such people because they do not make very good friends i found over the years that many of my friends were intact not friends at all and turned out to be people who bitched about me behind my back....But this point also is related to your message you received because the fact is many people bitch about you when you create good music,art,writing,videos etc they do not like the fact that you are creating something they can't create.It really does not matter whether you have made it as they put it because art,music,writing is not about making it or becoming famous with what you do...It is about your enjoyment in creating music,art etc....The world is full of people who will criticise your creativity or bitch about you but the fact of reality is this their judgements of you are their problem not yours as soon as you take on board their attack at your art it then becomes your problem because what they think is then effecting your space of creativity...The issue is with them not you.....When you create art,music etc you will always have people come into your field who will have that approach to bitch about you and attack your art or say certain things about you or your art...What Chad said in another post is right 'Don't listen to the haters" these people have the issue within themselves....I am an artist, musician,writer,music video maker and i have struggled with my art just like many others and if you let certain people affect you then it will cause you more pain in yourself....I had a break down in 1990 because of a build up of many things....When i left England to travel india and Nepal I felt much better being away from the vicious nasty people,some of them actually deserve a slap....When i was a teen in the area i lived in i was very tired of the way people stab you in the back and are nice to your face and how people tend to judge you and point the finger at you...Tessa my advice to you is stear clear of such people in your life because it will not help your creativity.Don't worry about what people say about you or your music and whether you have made it or not....The fact is people do not change from when they leave school or college they tend to project everything onto others because they can't deal with who they are and so they give into the demons of darkness within them such as jealousy,envy,hate...The main thing they do not like about you is something within themselves which they can't cope with.....You should neevr have to sell yourself to any industry to become known or famous...But what does it matter who judges you by your acclaim...Vincent van Gogh was not known as an artist until after he died and is now famous world wide....He suffered in his life as an artist whilst the idiots laughed at him....He suffered like many others who also suffered in life because they shine through the darkness...You are no different Tessa,this world is full of backstabbers and people who will try to drag you down to their level mentally, physically and spiritually and they will say things to try and hurt you.Such people love to see you fail they enjoy it....So you keep doing your art,your music,your video's regardless of what they think or say because Chad is right the haters do not have the love....avoid the nasty bigots let them wallow in thier own void of self which has no light of truth within it....it is best to send them love because they need it...Love them for thier ignorance because that is what it is....Jealousy is ignorance because we are all reflections of each other in the cosmos of mirrors....Truth will prevail in the end when thier lies become dust in the true art of creative force which is universal....You might be interested in what i am doing...I am creating Animations of my art work to my music,my music is experimental....I am also writing a book of short stories which will be published this year...Peace to you Tessa,love Orbism..
