SDA 4.3 & Ashe 1.2 – Dev Update + Timeline: Biggest Banter Integration Yet!

Hey everyone!

Just a quick progress update on the Ashe and SDA updates.

Right now, I’m deep in the writing phase for both projects, focusing on wrapping up SDA and the Ashe banter first. This has been the most requested content for both mods (outside of Vigilant), and it’s also the headliner for SDA 4.3 and Ashe 1.2. I’m happy with the amount of content so far, but it’s still a bit of a messy draft, haha. Paid Patreon members will get an in-depth look once I organize everything into a more readable document later this week.

What I can say already is that this will be one of the most extensive follower banter integrations I’ve ever done - surpassing even big ones like Lucien–Inigo and my past crossovers. Serana will be able to join Ashe on her quest (and vice versa) in addition to a ton of radiant conversations. There will also be romance awareness! Some other content - like the main quest and faction quests - may receive additional Serana - Ashe banter in the future, but after this initial release, my focus will shift to wrapping up the remaining content for SDA’s final updates (changelog on my website).

Content-wise, the main inspirations are Baldur’s Gate (for character-driven mini-arcs and rich writing) and Final Fantasy XV (for sheer banter volume and some comedic beats). As I’ve mentioned here and on Nexus, the timeline is here, and still on track:

If I’ve seemed a bit quieter than usual on Discord or Nexus lately, this massive banter work is why. That said, I’ve been keeping track of a good number of bug reports and will be working on fixes soon. In the meantime:

• PC players can use console commands to skip any bugged quests.

• Xbox players can follow other troubleshooting steps listed on my websites.

This week and next, I’ll be finalizing brainstorming and moving into writing the dialogue lines.
