🛠 April Dev Update – SDA 4.2 & Ashe 1.1

Ashe with optional Bocksten Cloak Add-On (optional look included in V1.1*). Trueblood Serana v2 with Seranaholic 1.5 hair and Twilight Princess Armor.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to check in and share what's happening behind the scenes with both mods. It's been a busy month, but we're getting really close to some exciting updates.

🔹 SDA 4.2

All new dialogue lines are edited and sounding fantastic- I’m currently wrapping up scripting, polishing the Creation Kit implementation, and doing some final audio mastering tweaks. Kerstyn's custom lines (those long-awaited patron requests!) have been edited and polished, and they sound great. I'm currently incorporating feedback from early listeners to make sure they’re spot-on.

Version 4.2 is mostly a fan-service/fan content update, but for new content as y’all are aware, Serana gets some fresh, immersive banter with Daegon, adding extra personality and commentary during your adventures.

🔹 Ashe 1.1

Ashe’s "mini-update" ballooned into something much bigger- now featuring 500+ new lines, (even moaarrr) deeper emotional and moral depth (while also backdating her origin story), and more immersive roleplay*.

Expect a much more grounded, reactive, and expressive Ashe in 1.1.

 Why the extra runway?

SDA 4.2 was originally targeted for the end of March, then moved to mid-April. But between working on Ashe simultaneously, family time during Easter, and a bit of creeping burnout, I realized it was important to step back.

Don't get me wrong- I still absolutely love making these mods and getting into the creative zone. But waking up exhausted, coughing, and running purely on caffeine isn't sustainable for anyone. Taking the extra weeks means higher-quality content, fewer bugs, and a healthier schedule overall.

I’ll also be traveling and then spending time with family from 7–25 May, which will double as a much-needed break after several intense months of development. While abroad, I'll stay connected via Discord/Nexus, light scriptwriting, and tester feedback, but major Creation Kit work will resume once I’m home- which is why the full public release is set for right after my return.

Kerstyn and I have also been discussing ways to keep the upcoming SDA updates manageable and healthy-- possibly by splitting the planned Version 5.0 into smaller, more focused updates. Nothing's set in stone yet, but our aim is better pacing and sustainability without sacrificing any of the planned content or quality.

Roadmap at a glance:

Sorry if it's pixelated, needed to take a screenshot of a Docs table since Patreon doesn't have table functionality.

Thanks, as always!

Your continued support means so much- it allows me to keep these updates exciting and polished, without burning out. If you'd like to help with testing, dev-build posts will appear on the dates listed above. And of course, I'm always open to your questions and feedback in the comments!

I can also share some teaser clips and screenshots as soon as the audio mastering is locked in.

Stay awesome

Hi! Apologies that this public post wasn't updated like the others (Nexus, Discord, etc...) When I released early access for both mods, I realized I'd need a bit more runway- so I mentioned a late may/possibly June release. Looks like it'll be the latter at this point! The mods run smoothly other than a few bugs - just wanna be sure everything is extra polished up until release!

So when do you plan to release the public version of SDA 4.2 and Ashe 1.1, if you didn't on the planned date of 30 May?
