IMPORTANT UPDATE: Hotfix 02 Released for the Pre-Release

This hotfix addresses multiple issues, including fixes from Hotfix 01. You only need to download Hotfix 02 as it includes all prior fixes.

Fixes in Hotfix 02:

• Fixed an issue where Ashe was mistakenly set to an Invulnerable flag at the start of Chapter 5. This oversight has been corrected, and script checks have been added to ensure Ashe's invulnerability is removed at the end of Chapter 5 and the start of Chapter 6 for existing saves.

• Added a cooldown to Ashe's MQ01 greet dialogue to prevent frequent repetition.

• Optimized scripts and removed unused ones for better performance.

Fixes from Hotfix 01 (also included in Hotfix 02):

• Fixed the Romance quest not triggering. This now works on any save made before the end of the quest Go Beyond - Vestiges Reborn.

• Corrected spar dialogue mistakenly shown to all NPCs.

Download Instructions:

• PC Users: Download the full mod first, then apply Hotfix 02 (attached to this post) to overwrite the original files.

• Xbox Users: Simply redownload the mod. Note that Bethesda's servers may take time to update. If you see an update notification, it's likely for the hotfix.

😳Yoooo fam it's finally here😳. Yep, sorry for the slight delay - encountered some pesky bugs and issues yesterday, including Bethesda updating their Creation Kit YET AGAIN and throwing a wrench in my whole workflow process. 🥲

Requirements (PC):

• Nemesis and DAR/OAR (For Custom Animations)

• HDT SMP For Outfit and HDT Hair Support

• SKSE (For Additional functionality)

• EFA (soft requirement for improved facial animations). Non-EFA setups also supported.

• (Optional) RSkyrim Children Overhaul for Remy Non-Potato Head Patch

• (Optional) OStim Standalone (for animated romance scenes). Otherwise they will be fade to black.

  
  

Quick Instructions (PC):

1. Download and install the FOMOD HERE. // IMPORTANT: NEW SAVE REQUIRED. (Unless you're feeling brave - see below)*

2. Run through the options**.

3. Place Ashe near the bottom of your LO.

4. Build meshes in Bodyslide (if you chose an outfit option). You'll also be able to choose between heels and non-heels for Ashe's boots.

5. Run Nemesis.

6. Enjoy!

• *Existing Prologue Save? (Use at your own risk!) Dismiss/disable Ashe, travel to a new cell, uninstall the old mod, install this Early Access.

• **Dialogue Voices: I've put a ton of work into making sure the NPC impressionist voices are awesome (and NOT nightmare-inducing, looking at you split personality SDA). But, if they’re not your jam, there's a patch to disable them. Honestly, give ‘em a shot first though! And if anyone wants to make an unofficial AI voice patch, permissions are wide open, just hit me up! 🔑
  

  
  

Quick Instructions (Xbox):

1. Click this link. Or search npcdialoguetest 1 on Bethnet. Subscribe/Download.

2. Not compatible with prologue builds. If you had a prologue build then (like PC) uninstall it and install the early access build at your own risk.

3. Add it to your library and make sure "Ashe - Fire and Blood.esp" is activated in your load order!

Quick Playthrough Hints:

• Play the game, I'll hold your hand (just a bit) hahaha.

• If you can't find them, she's hanging out at the Winking Skeever in Solitude.

• You'll need 200 gold to recruit her.

Once she's in your party, just chat with her, and her story will unfold naturally! During this initial rapport-building phase (before her main quest) some dialogue options require you to wait a bit (24h usually).

KNOWN ISSUES/PLANNED CHANGES:

• Ashe's spar dialogue may appear for other NPCs. This is not intentional. Ignore this for now and do not select said dialogue option with them as this may trigger unforeseen errors or difficulties. // FIXED!

• Will be updated as confirmed reports (minor and large) come. When it releases all issues and planned changes will be on the Nexus page.

• All bugs from the Prologue have been resolved.

• ⚠️ MOD CONFLICTS - SUPER IMPORTANT! ⚠️ Running into any weirdness with other mods? Like, I already found a rock from Interesting NPCs chilling near Ashe's house - prevents her from pathing until you Fus Roh Dah her out of the way. If you spot anything like that, comment and let me know! It helps me figure out what needs patching. I play with a ton of mods (1000+!), but I can't catch everything. Your eyes are super valuable here! 👀

  
  

What to Expect:

Full Mod. Massive in size and uhhh... well there's a whole lot to write for the public release documentation HAHAHA. But gist is...

• All Features fully implemented (smithing, spooning, spells, TP, tracking marker, Campfire Talks (Drinking Buddies), and more!)

• Full Main Quest. Prologue had Chapter 1, this build has the rest. No spoilers but it's a doozy!

• Romance (SFW Fade to Black and with built-in OStim Standalone support off the bat!). You can flirt with Ashe at different times during her MQ, but there's also a secret (but story-accurate) shortcut for those who don't want to wait. Either option results in a romance mini-quest at the end of the story, which just plays out differently depending on your romance choices.

• NOTE: She does not have any quest commentary at the moment unfortunately. I realize I did say this in an earlier post - sorry, my bad for the typo! It was meant for future releases and not the current one.
