Ashe & SDA News: Updates and Exciting Stuff! 😄

Hey fam! Apologies for the lack of updates. Just wanted to let ya guys know I'm alive, and Ashe progress has been good – just a bit delayed due to some technical hurdles. Sorry for the wait! 😅 I was a tad too ambitious with Ashe and my workload.

Up until now, I've mostly dealt with dialogue and follower features/fixes for existing followers (like Serana), not creating an entirely new project from the ground up. Definitely a learning experience, and something to keep in mind for future projects! (Quick side note, Aela is basically a simpler Serana, so working on her should be considerably faster and easier. 😉 )

The updated timeline is that the Prologue will be ready in two weeks. If you've seen the character sheet, it includes everything from Chapters 0-1, where a character reveal kicks off, and you also get to visit Ashe's home for the first time. I'd consider this a "semi-early access" – it's stable and mostly bug-free, so I encourage you guys to give it a try!

Since a lot of you have been patiently waiting for Ashe content, I'm planning to release the Prologue for free after the initial Patreon run. Then, all things considered, I'm aiming for a final early access release of the full mod (all chapters) sometime in October.

On the SDA front, I've made good progress compiling your custom requests for the V5.0 script. I've got all the names added, but I'm still working on those custom conversations. In the meantime, a new bugfix update (SDA 4.1.1.2) is out now on all platforms, so grab that if you're running into any pesky issues!

Once Ashe is out (even in early access), I'll be writing the SDA 5.0 script! Judging from my past SDA timetables, scripts usually take about a month to write, so I should have it ready for Kerstyn in December when her hiatus ends.

I'll be recording a public dev update video soon covering all this, so keep an eye out for that, along with some juicy trailers and content previews for Ashe on my YouTube channel! (Don't worry, I'm not editing the videos myself, just producing, so my main focus is still on mod development! 😉 )

EDIT 03: Hey everyone! The Ashe Prologue is taking a little longer than expected. 😅 I'm prioritizing getting it super polished and bug-free, even if it means a few extra days. I'll announce the new release date very soon - thanks for your patience! 🙏
