Production Update 1/21/23

Production and script update time!

Thank you all for the support and following me here and anywhere else that you might! It still means so much that people are enjoying my story and really want to see where it goes! 

Updates:
Script:
The script is currently at 25k words and is the majority of Day 9. Ideally I want to finish Day 9 and get decently through Day 10 in this update. The update right now focuses on working with Rhoun and seeing what the day to day is like for him, although day 10 will head in a different direction. Plenty of time to hang with everyone's favorite Director of maintenance!

Art:

I'd like to introduce you to two (hopefully) familiar names! These are Kess and Mylo, and they will be introduced in this update! (Along with old art of them from a fake screenshot I made.) I don't want to say too much, but I hope you find them as enjoyable as everyone else on the crew. They'll show up in all routes, but predominately in Rhoun's in the future. Their sprites have been completely colored and lined and just need to be shaded and exported. As far as backgrounds go unfortunately these two have take up a lot of my time (not to mention classes).

Music! Three new tracks will be introduced into the game with this update, and I think they are ALL killer! The scene with Marruk at the window was an early release, the other three will be coming out in the next update.

Other:
More grammar fixes!!! That's right, this update has even more fixes and changes, but we might be close to getting almost all of them pinned down. There are some minor script changes, such as trimming some redundancy down, but otherwise no story changes have been made. I wouldn't mind in the future going through and making some small small small changes, but for now I will press onward! I know everyone is excited to see where things are going, and I'm excited to write it!
I have implemented a Day Selection screen on the main menu, so now when saves die again or if you want to jump around you can easily do that! 

Some code has been made cleaner but otherwise most of the stuff under the hood is decent right now, besides maybe breaking the saves again oops.

Just wanted to give everyone a progress update and say thank you for all the support you have given me so far! Even following my Itch.io means a ton to me!
