The Vice Admiral stood up and crossed her arms, waiting for him to 'do' something, this action of hers confused everyone.

"I can certainly fly all of us there. But why would I take all of you? I can kill this Hornigold guy myself..." The more he thought about the variables at play, the more he thought it was better to be safe than sorry and deal with everything himself, 'I know one of the deadliest powers of the Yami Yami no Mi is to cancel devil fruits. Any of them would have a hard time against this fellow except for Gion and Primrose'.

"I have other plans for him, I need him alive... You got all of this information thanks to me. The least you can do is respect your elders a bit" Tsuru knew that if he decided to go, there was little they could do to stop him, thankfully, she had allies on his side, one way or another.

"I also told you that I want to deal with this man on my own, sweetie. This has gone personal".

Standing in front of the Amazon Lily Empress and his 'surrogate' mother, Veyron could do nothing but concede.

"There is another piece of information which I haven't told you. But to tell you this, I have a condition" Robin spoke again.

"Hmn? What is it?"

"Take me to Skypea..."

Silence reigned in the room and the beauty looked at everyone confused, she didn't think she asked for anything outrageous.

"She's a bit insane isn't she?" Marigold and Sandersonia giggled.

"Why?"

"You're too weak, what exactly are you going to do up there?"

"I do not intend to fight anyone! There is something that I must see... more accurately, something that I'm looking for, and it could be up there. If I lose this chance, I may not ever step on a sky island again".

"What are you looking for?" Tsuru frowned and asked.

"That..." Robin didn't want to say.

"She's looking for the poneglyphs" Veyron spoke matter of factly.

Robin turned to him aghast, a little pale at being exposed like this in front of two marines, one of them a famous vice admiral no less.

"You have a lot of gals to say that word in front of me" Tsuru sighed, 'This brat has very little tact'.

"What are you going to do? give me a fist of love?"

"I wish I could, but I can wash you up, iron you and then hang you for drying, do you like the idea?"

"I don't".

"Foolish girl, do you know why you're being hunted?! You want to discover the history of the void century, even after knowing what this implies to you!?" Gion lashed at Robin with anger, this girl had a price for her head and it was a taboo within marine lines to see her as a pirate. Little was known about Ohara, but rear admirals, vice admirals and admirals all knew that this girl hadn't committed a crime that warranted her bounty.

She had just pissed off the wrong people. Now, during this junction, Tsuru was magnanimous enough to let her go and yet this girl kept asking for death!

Gion could be nothing if not angry.

"I can't stop myself! I'm the only person left that can read them, if I don't do it whole else will?!"

A staring match resulted in Robin having to falter in front of the pressure emitted by Gion who was not a pushover by any means, Veyron had to stand up in front of her and emitted Conqueror Haki of his own. The contrast in power made Gion step back and grit her teeth, she couldn't believe this young boy was such a powerhouse, his aura alone frightened her, much more so than the cloaked sword leaning to the side of the room.

"So what if she wants to discover the void century?"

"Dracule Veyron, for a brat so young you're a pain in the ass. You all can do whatever you want, just don't come crying to me later".

With Tsuru's acceptance, Veyron smirked and turned towards a kneeling Robin.

"Robin, what is the information...? I'll take you with us. Marigold and Sandersonia will protect you".

"EH?! WHY US!?"

"Because I love the two you?~"

"Guess it can't be helped, little brother, I'll do what you say~" Sandersonia rubbed her nose.

"We're gonna have to protect this girl~" Marigold fidgeted.

Hancock and Primrose found their eyebrows flinching 'He has them around his finger'.

As if they weren't under the influence themselves.

"The other piece of information is that Peter has allies on that island. I don't know if that was supposed to be some sort of code, but his crewmates said that Peter was the ally of the God of Lightning".

"Ally of God? Those must be just delusions, there is no God" Gion was disappointed that the piece of information ended up being such a foolish affirmation. So did everybody else except for one person, the only one who had real knowledge of the events place in the manga and yet, he was clueless.

'Peter Hornigold has the Yami Yami no Mi, he and Enel are both Birkan and allies? things are making less and less sense. If this is a parallel world and things aren't exactly as in the story, then does that mean Blackbeard doesn't exist in this timeline?'.

All he could do was guess.

"I'll tell you a story".

"About what?"

"Leave him, he's drunk already!".

"The story is about a powerful and devastating battle between two devil fruits".

"What is this psycho talking about? he's drunk".

"There was one fruit that represented the night, and another one that represented the day. These fruits fought each other for supremacy, they were very strong, but in the end -like always- there had to be a winner".

He smaller the bottle of booze after downing it all.

"And who won, the darkness or the light~"

"It has to be the light oi!".

"Nah, not at all. It was naturally the darkness who won, but in order to defeat the light... it suffered. It was split into three parts while the fruit of light was exiled for centuries, never to be eaten by anyone again".

"Good story and all Teach, but what's the conclusion, huh?!"

"The conclusion is that the fruit split in three parts... and today those three fruits are the only fruits that would allow you to eat another~ they want to be together again but those three parts are fated to never meet each other, that's the curse placed on that fateful battle".

"Get out of here... we all know it is impossible to eat two devil fruits. The devils will fight each other and eventually the person will explode".

"Zehahahaha! You're right, I was just talking nonsense. Let's continue with the banquet, this one is on you Pops!".
