I just have to say something about the- being locked in their rooms - it was a security thing. Their security team thought they would be swamped by fans and cause a security issue for them and the fans as well, so it was more of a safety issue. They weren't physically locked, they were just told it wasn't safe to go out etc, and I believe at that point they were too young to make a decision to break that advice and risk others. Niall has talked about this in the past as well, saying looking back they should have gone out, because as they got older, this stopped and the entire team realized their assessment had been too severe probably. This is why Liam says, "I don't blame anyone".

2024-12-03 23:03:41 +0000 UTCWhile Harry definitely has the luxury of saying no to promo that the other guys can't, the show Liam refers to with the drinking game is Watch What Happens Live on Bravo, and they've definitely had some A-listers on there-the show has always been trashy to me, but pretty sure people like Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep, etc. have been on. I think that I've seen a clip where the host Andy Cohen asks Liam whether it was true that he has dated Naomi Campbell.

Liam didn’t have a good team around him to protect him from those kinds of situations to keep his sobriety.
