Iβve watched this one a few times now and it just dawned on meβ¦ I bet the light in the back of the gas station was turned back on by the guy who made the initial 911 call. How do you know the place is empty? Ya walk through it and turn the lights on! They never mention him when making this big fuss about the lights. Oh well. Great video! π

There is a new algorithm that clusters and links cases that the police may not have linked. Chicago appears to have at least 3 serial killers currently active (the victims tend to be prostitutes or the homeless). There have been over 50 strangling victims and none have been solved. The MAP (Murder Accountably Program) is being used in a few places and in a couple of jurisdictions, MAP researchers informed the police of the presence of a serial killer before the police had to reluctantly agree. They predicted Gary, Indiana had an active serial killer, called the Gary PD, were shut down verbally (βdonβt call us, weβll call youβ sort of thing) when, what do you know, Darren Vann turned out to be said serial killer. Cleveland and Chicago are the two hot spots MAP has calculated. I hope as more states use it, it becomes a benefit but I wonder if would have picked up this piece of shit. His crimes seem so unconnected, even knowing about them. Itβs like they had to find him to link him. How many guys like him exist (that no algorithm would pick up), I bet that number would give us all nightmares.
