Corpses don't prune. Pruning is caused by the blood vessels just under the skin constricting in reaction to water. A person drowns within a couple of minutes, so it wouldn't matter how long the body was under water. I'm surprised the prosecution didn't counter with it because it was one of the biggest defense arguments.

It only takes a couple of minutes to drown so it wouldn't matter how long her body was at the bottom of the pool. According to www.aurorahealthcare.org : "pruney fingers and toes are actually caused when blood vessels just below the skin shrink — a process called vasoconstriction. When your nervous system is functioning properly, soaking in water sends a message through the nerves telling those blood vessels to shrink." So there you have it.

A lot of people have similar taste when they choose parters.... maybe she looked like the wife, so as part of the cover, she was around and finished it? His reaction when answering the door was, basically, an open confession. As if he had communicated with that mystery woman.... maybe?

The skin info is very bizarre though, and I don't understand how on earth that happened if not because she wasn't in the water long - maybe the pool guy helped him out?? The jury that lives in my head is still out on this one - LOVE your work though Mike - cheers man!!

The Disappearance Of Renee MacRae has finally had an arrest. This murder happened back in the 70s. Also another case from the 70s...the murder of Dr Brenda Paige has had an arrest finally too.
