Robert Pickton | Killer Piggy Farmer

Robert Pickton | Killer Piggy Farmer

Comments

...don't call me piggy!... (sorry couldn't help myself)

Tina Prehogan

IIRC, some cops had attended his parties. Some--but that's just what I remember. And if you want serial killers, well, look no further than California. At one point in the 1970s, LA had ~90% of the world's identified active serial killers. But yeah, Pickton was just vile. Evil. Depraved.

Owen Salisbury

I smell methamphetamine...

William Myers

Thanks for the quarantine filler :) perfect timing

What an absolute horror of a human being, I struggle using the word human here.... As for the police who allowed this sick f**k to carry on his merry killing spree did any of the officers actually get found responsible for what happened? All in all since I started watching your videos Mike one thing I’ve learned.... never emigrate to Canada😱. Ps The humor had me chuckling but thank god for it I’m not sure I could have coped processing this tale without it😉

Shazzzaa

If only that could have been the official title for your thesis paper XD Sack way past full.

My parents live 3 blocks away from the site in a truly idyllic part of Port Coquitlam. The farmland he owned became inevitably engulfed over many years (good and bad thing) and his "farm" while um... functional? (no good choice of word!) stood really out of place right in the middle of pastel houses and elementary schools and the pretty family friendly community. fast forward to NOW, and the square of land has been razed, but like hints of old structures still sit there. It can be so "ladeedah such a beauuutiful day walking the dog, such loverly vibes..." turn corner and walk past THAT. And vibes = haunted.. Lots of rallying for it to be repurposed into a memorial park or something. why it still sits there too recognizable as a reminder beats me but maybe other locals would know. It was inhumanly awful as so many of this cases are but Pickton tends to take the macabre cake on lists or serial killers. The grass grew up and someone has put some cows on the acre that was just rolling lumps of dirt and way too evocative of what they had been looking to dig up. Anyways this and the Highway of Tears may be the only vids Mike has released I can't quite watch. Too close to home. literally. (I will cave though. I always learn something new from Prof O' even if I thought I had all the facts!) Segue to THANKS Mike! As always for going so deep with these andmaking TC one of my favourite corners of the whole net-iverse.

There's a good doco on this case on YouTube. Social workers kept expressing concerns about all these prostitutes going missing and the rcmp just kept looking the other way. The thing that got me was a niece of one of the victims getting upset because the rendering plant Willy would send the barrels of pig material (which may of also included human material) to be used in edible pork products got upset because she didn't mean to eat her Aunty because she ate the brands of products effected... poor kid. Awesome jon Mike xx

I live about 20 minutes from where his ranch was. I also wrote my final paper for my Crim degree on him and what a sack of shit he was. Awesome video mike!!!

Piggy Palace was a registered non-profit charity?!! I live right here in Vancouver, BC, and did at the time the whole Pickton thing went down/ have seen every news flash and story behind them tearing the farm apart searching for evidence, have watched all the docs online and yet -- DIDN'T know that! Everyone just referred to it as the Piggy Palace where ba'aaad things happened. And it took you, Mike, to let me in on this ... ah ... charitable aside. Yikes! Done it again. So thanks! (Not that it makes the story any less dirty or batshitty, bha ... )

Charle Min

This is a perfect example of a case that I’ve watched and listen to a lot before, but still sat and loved every minute of it again due to Mike’s presentation of it.

Robert

What Katie & Troy said ^^^... sooo basically “No” x’s 10 = “Yes” x’s 10? Also, what’s w/his blackened hands? Did he get inked prior to the interview or something? Oh, well! Thx for vid & further warnings about Canada, lol(j/k)! Hope everyone stays safe & healthy! ✌🏼😁

Mike: You're the Shit!... (fyi...in America, that's a good thing in case you thought otherwise).. We are being herded into our homes because of the virus, so Im thankful you are keeping up on content...it helps pass the time ...

Troy DeJulio

There was a Criminal Minds episode based on this... one of the creepiest episodes I remember watching.

Rachel Milani

The sentence is an insult to the victims, shows how little they mattered to police/the court/the jury. How could multiple murders using the same MO not be intentional and premeditated? Such a frustrating, f-ed up case in so many ways. But as always you did a great job, thanks Mike!

Katie Shaw

Thanks Mike

Jane Pohl

I had heard about this case before but I didn't realize he was that fucked up.

Shaun Hedeen

I had the same question in mind.

Eddie Glass

Mike, your face really lit up discussing the dildo on the 22. 😂 You made me snortle! However, this pile of pig shit should have been rendered. I can't believe how many women died because the RCMP just blew it off. Makes me wonder what else they've ignored.

Sash Johnson

Why where his hands that black and dirty, or was it just the clip? Gross.

Val_baby74

Hiscocks? The farm worker was named “Hiscocks”? As though this story didn’t have enough odd shit in it to begin with lol

Marty Murphy

australia

Steven Cox

Haha there would certainly be a lack of batshit on this channel

Where would That Chapter be without contributions from Canada and Florida?

Eddie Glass

Thank you so much Michaela!

Thanks Jacquie!!

No Canadian cases for a while! I think...

That Chapter

Oh man. That Chapter + Serial Killer? It's like I almost don't notice I haven't left the house in 5 days.

Blake Griffin

LOL "I feel like I've said that before, but we just keep coming back to Canada." Canadian here -- I totally get it. 99% of the time, we don't even HEAR about these people, because of the privacy laws in Canada, so sometimes I hear about these people FOR THE FIRST TIME from YOU! No joke!

Remy Darling

I was straight up laughing at the 'No, no, nope, no, no, nope, no, no, no" and wondering where the hell that came from until the interrogation tape, and started laughing all over again. Methink he doth protest too much!

Remy Darling

Awesome video episode Mike~ It took a long time to search the entire property, and I mean entire, for evidence and *body parts*. They searched all of the agricultural land and found chopped up bits and pieces... and I think they found body parts in his freezer that he hadn’t disposed of yet when the police came knocking. East Hastings is a place in Vancouver everyone knows you just don’t visit. 🐷 Great Job Mike!

Usagi Dango

Great job on this Mike! I believe if I remember they did indeed find DNA in the pig pen from a couple victims and you're correct the RCMP really fucked the pig on this one on sloppy investigation. 🐷 I agree he was a bastard, we all thought the brother was definitely in on it too. I don't agree he was the worst serial killer for us though, Clifford Olsen will always hold that title, but in term of fucked up, Willy wins!

Jacquie Poier

Omg so far, most disturbing case at least for me😢thx for uploading even these days. Greetings from Czech Republic 🇨🇿 ( huge fan)

Michaela Smith

This is probably one of the most gut-churning cases I’ve ever heard. Killing is one thing (still bad, obviously...), but mutilating, dismembering, and whatever else is on another level of evil. It’s hard to believe monster like them exist in this world. Maybe even in our own communities.

Erin Ceja

This was a very disturbing case. One of his victims was a childhood friend of my sister, one of the cases he wasn’t convicted on. I watched several days in court while it was happening. He is creepier in person.... women must have been pretty desperate for drugs to go anywhere with him!

Amber

my comment doesn’t seem to have posted 🤦🏻‍♂️ i’ll recreate it. that was pretty horrifying. i’d love to know how the jury decided to convict him of second degree murder in the first six cases. they were undoubtedly premeditated. the way the system handled this was fucked. but at least he’s gonna die behind bars.

Cassiel Winchester

This is the most disturbing case and he is the creepiest man on the planet. Yes a Canadian wins. But the reason the last 20 charges were stayed was because they knew he was guilty, but it would cost the tax payers hundreds of thousands of dollars for no reason. He will be declared a "Dangerous Offender" and that means he will never be released from prison ever despite the 25 year sentence.

Carolyne S.

Thanks, Mike!
