2020-03-12 15:13:49 +0000 UTCI was just in Salem yesterday, and oddly enough I stayed in the motel 8 in Eureka about 2 years before this happened. I remember this case well and I definitely have an opinion about him...I think he's done this before. I'm glad he got life in the prison. He doesn't deserve to see sunlight. On a brighter note! I know what happened in Bend is super sad, but it's really a lovely place and has a bunch of great breweries. The brew pub walk is awesome! Can even be carried through a tour of the breweries by horse drawn carriage. Lol

If she was lying they could have arrested her later. I just think there were better ways the officers could have handled the situation. Can you imagine going through what she went through then getting put in cuffs and thrown in jail for two days because the officers didn't bother to contact law enforcement in the area she was missing from?
