Mike, I don't know if you saw my summation of everything that's happened since you released the video, but our candlelight vigil got almost 20,000 likes (even more views) and was a success beyond what we ever even imagined, thanks in large part to your video. I'll post everything on Discord for all to see and since there have been SOOOOO many questions and theories about the crime (I got over 8,000 emails!😳🤯😬 Holy smokes!) I promised my people that I would set up a Facebook group to talk about it and take tips and ideas about the memorial scholarship fundraising efforts, a couple asked for a subreddit, and I didn't know if I should send them to That Chapter's sub or not, and we're going to use the Discord Bronwyn set up to talk about it.
I just wanted to credit you properly on everything, drive as much traffic to the channel as possible and thank you again on behalf of the victims, their friends, and their families for your amazing job. I see a lot of theories down there in the comments (a lot of very smart people on this channel that picked up on the subtleties of the crime that you very smartly added) and I'll be happy to share any additional information I have about it over on our Discord.
Thank you and everyone else at That Chapter's community. This wouldn't have been the success it was without this channel.

I'm late folks. I apologize. But I'm here, so let's talk about the beautiful things Mike and our group did for the victims, the families and my hometown.
I decided that I was setting up a vigil to draw attention to the unsolved tragedy. It affected me deeply at the time, and I became angrier and angrier every year that the crime went ignored and the victims and families left behind in pain. I tried hard to do this at the 25th anniversary and got no response from anyone but Stephen Teran's brother Anthony Teran. This time, for whatever reason, it took off. I asked a couple of Youtubers to make me a video. I paid one over $200 for an approx 4 minute video that was too offensive to use.
Mike did not hesitate. He didn't ask for anything. I was shocked at what a kind, pure man he was to help me without a moment's hesitation. People just don't do that anymore.
Not only did Mike make the video, he made the best, most factual, superb video ever done on this tragedy, just because I asked him. He didn't want money for it. Anthony Teran, Stephen's brother was bowled over by it. He said it was "better than anything I could imagine in my wildest dreams". To say the families were touched is the understatement of the new and old decade.
He not only made it, he made it great. He put more details, theories, information and beat out a documentary done 10 years ago by a documentarian. And he just did it because I asked. I'm sorry, but mind is still blown, my spirit and faith that there are still good people out there renewed. I am in awe of Mike. He deserves all the success and support in the world. You don't find people like that everyday.
Then there's what our community did on Discord. Reene and Bronwyn and Rosie rolled up their virtual sleeves and helped me get to work. The assisted in anyway they could, creatively, monetarily, spiritually but most importantly to me they helped emotionally. I got very sick in the middle of preparing. So sick I was moved to a First Nation's hospital to assist me in my death rights. My doctor told me last week I was so close to death they measured me for my shroud bindings and were going to contact one of our medicine people what grave goods I required to be transferred home
Meanwhile these ladies and lad didn't give up or walk away, the shared on Facebook, they got the word out, they didn't stop because I was down for the count. They helped deal with the press, the families, the businesses and lists and, and, and I could go on all night.
I woke up in a strange hospital alone. I was terrified, groggy, confused and desperate. I called my boyfriend and immediate family, my kids I couldn't find anyone. Meanwhile my sister's from another mister kept working, and looking for me.
I had a feeling to call Bronwyn and she picked up first ring. I've never been so relieved but fairly confused to hear an Australian accent while reading signs in Dine on Dililuded and immediately give some ceremonial wine to sip. Despite hinting strongly that she should get on a plane and get me right then and there (What's 8,853 miles between friends, am I right?) But she talked me down from the sheer panic attack I was having. Which was good because I could've ripped my stitches the way I did after leaving against medical advice.
I've been in and out of clarity. I have a genetic disorder of the brain. I have other tumors. Before the vigil I was going to forego treatment. All this changed my mind. I've started the hard chemotherapy and I've been so sick and weak and in pain and having good days and bad ones.
There us SO MUCH MORE to the story of what these amazing strangers did, strangers I consider my true friends. It's so rare to find people who not just helped the strangers whose life was forever altered 30 years ago in a small Southwestern town and the help the girl who was probably too sick to take it on, but did anyway. I'm getting very drowsy, but so much else I want to say. Love you guys. Thank you.

I think they went with Hispanic thing because of the witness who said he say two Hispanic guys but he may have been wrong or maybe that really wasn’t them who did it. Sometimes it’s hard to change your view. She lives somewhere where she sees all kinds of races (whites, blacks, hispanics) versus some small cities like mine where it’s very European. There’s very little diversity where I live but she was in New Mexico. I think she knew the difference. I think you’re right.

Really -- she was brave as hell. And to KNOW she was shot 5 times -- you could hear her laboured breathing, crying, and she was SO brave. I'm so proud of that little girl, but my heart, ffs.

I think this is the first one of Mike’s where there were no jokes. It was solemn. But we can normally poke fun at the idiot spouse who did something or hate on whoever did it but because there’s nothing, because there were 7 people, because of its tone it wasn’t the kind of video that warranted little jokes. I think the 9-1-1 call is what stood out and hearing a 13 year old do this... it warranted a solemn story telling. This one hit different.

I felt the same, Remy, but it was conflicting. It broke my heart but she was super brave. I remember being 13 and I don’t think I would be that strong. “I was shot 5 times. It hurts...” like what a strong little girl. I hope she’s doing well in life.

I reckon some confusion has complicated things here. Possibly just me, but those photo fits don’t look like Hispanic guys to me. I think the little girl was right first time in saying they were black & was then persuaded otherwise and the confusion has thrown the cops off the scent all these years.

What a heroic little girl! How awesome was she to think so quick? Still, the fact it remains unsolved, to me, either someone is terrified or it was an inside job - somehow. Great video as usual, though, Mike. Who knows, maybe your attn to it might = a result ;-) Mike - NRLWB from Twitter. Glad I joined Patreon! TY!!

I had never heard of this case! So sad, my heart is breaking! I will never understand how people can be so cruel & not even bat an eyelid at taking another person's life, especially babies 😓 It really sucks that the scumbags responsible got away with it!
Thanks for another great video Mike 👍💕
