I think living through it made me downplay it, but dang did it permanently change our country, sadly in many ways in a worse direction.

Still, people are strangely nostalgic for the Trump years since COVID generally messed up their thinking so much. I'm a big fan of Steve Kornacki and Let's Talk Elections, and they seem to agree with the video you shared.

Oh, the electoral college, how I hate thee! I knew the JFK v. Nixon election was a nail biter, but I didn’t know just how razor thin of margins it really was! Thanks for providing context! I would assert there is considerable evidence against a Trump victory. In short, ever since Roe v Wade was overturned, Democrats have been consistently over performing in off year election cycles and in special elections... But then ask yourself, then we're not going to show up in 2024 against Trump? I pay more attention to actual election results and less so to polling. As I see it, there are enough voters who recognize Biden is an imperfect ally where Trump is a belligerent enemy... But oh man, I am so not infallible. Sure, Florida gets all the attention, not that it's wrong, but had any other state been with Gore, like Tennessee, Arkansas, New Hampshire, and West Virginia, he'd be POTUS. Sorry to ask since I know you don't like the EC, but did you get my zip files of all the maps to 2020?
