Rating - 9/10 - JACK YOU PRECIOUS BEAN! Those scenes killed me! So good though. So Michael just apparently up & left Dean's perfect bod??? Whaaaa?? I don't buy it. There has to be something more to it! Why would he just choose to leave? Also Nicholas... he gotta go... he's terrifying, truly messed up now & needs locking up. We also have some hybrids on our hands...there needs to be a reason for this too, he's gonna declare war? Maybe? IDK.

I love cas & jack talks so much, imo they are the best father & son dual in this show 😍. I understand where jack is coming from with wanting to kill michael even if it means dean die too coz he was in apocalypse world for a time, he experienced first hand what michael does to worlds & people & he knows dean would agree with him but also cas would let the world burn to ashes trying to save dean so i get both their views

I see his name and get excited, then I see he's directing, a little bit of me is disappointed, because I love his character on the show (so end of last season was gutting for me). But he is a great director and I do love most of his episodes he directs.

2021-05-17 23:08:18 +0000 UTCForgot to mention I felt Jensen’s performance here as Michael was more enjoyable. Jensen said that Richard Speight worked with him to fine tune the character. I think he has found a sweet spot between menace and an evil charm.

2021-05-17 20:37:34 +0000 UTCLiked the episode, but not too much to say about it. Felt bad for Jack not being able to tell his grandparents the truth about Kelli. Nick has gone off the deep end and is now bent on finding who killed his family. Glad that Dean is back, but super fishy.

2021-05-17 20:14:33 +0000 UTCAs much as I complained about the Nick storyline in the comments of the prior reaction, watching this episode reminded me that Jared and Jensen frequently requested/negotiated to reduce the number of scenes in which they are included so they could have a more manageable work schedule. In this episode it was noticeable as probably half the scenes were Cas, Jack or Nick without Sam or Dean. Still, rather than Nick’s storyline I would have preferred Jody, Donna or Rowena. Unfortunately those storylines were likely saved for Wayward Sisters which ended up not happening, so we have most of the season watching five white males. I very much loved Jack’s scene with his grandparents. They were really sweet, as was Jack. 100% I felt the same as you when Jack first started saying if Dean had to die to kill Michael then that was a sacrifice that would have to be made. Jack is absolutely right that Dean would completely agree with him. Like you, I absolutely smelled bullshit on Michael leaving Dean. I think that was the feeling of the entire fandom. This is Supernatural after all, and nothing good ever happens. I felt sure Michael was still there, but only time will tell because we are not going to confirm or deny your guesses.

2021-05-17 18:05:04 +0000 UTCI find the Nick plot really interesting a character being possessed by the devil himself for 10 years probably longer if you include the time in the cage and how they deal post possesion I just wish it had be done 3 seasons earlier being on season 14 and still having a plot related to Lucifer is a little jarring, the stuff between jack and his grandparents did break my heart though

I was in a heap, Jack is just the most lovable, innocent person ❤ Kelly's parents as well not knowing about the tragic fate of Kelly only stung that much more. Can't believe we are in Season 14 already! Now I need to go cry some more, awesome reaction! 😄

It's personal moments like when Jack meets his grandparents but not being able to reveal his identity, or the talks between Jack and Sam or Jack and Cas that make the show that much better! And credit to Mark P for playing Nick after playing Lucifer for so long and making him feel different.
