INTEMPERANCE VII, Chapter 6, Touch and Go

I don't know that the anesthesiologists actually do that, but.... I can envision a world where they do because those drugs do work in that manner. Ever since my heart surgery in 2017, I've been wondering if they asked me inappropriate questions once they gave me the Versed. Them giving it to me is the last thing I remember, but I know from observing surgery in that rotation that another fifteen to twenty minutes went by before they actually put me under. I did not observe anything inappropriate in my rotations, but the dark side of me wonders what happens when students aren't there. That was the basis for that scene. I apologize to any anesthesiologists or surgical team members who might be offended by my portrayal.

Another extremely well done chapter. And of you don't mind, I'm gonna go punch an anesthesiologist. Just because.
