Over the past few months, lots of things have been changing. This was originally designed to be a team of three people. However, it seems "Team" EmberWings ended up being just me doing the majority of the work.
That being said, I took the time to learn a bit of Ren'Py on my own, and took the framework Rimulex created to remake World's Crossing Academy from a sandbox style game into more of a linear visual novel. Since this is my first game, I figured this approach would be much easier.
What I've included here is a private alpha version as a demo for people to try out and give me feedback on. The end of the game takes you to a Google Form where you can tell me which characters are your favorites, who you think deserves more screen time, and even what you think the next build should include!
I've never been a game developer before, but I'm looking forward to joining their ranks and building an awesome, passionate community around this game. I want it to be so much more than just a cheap fap fest. I want characters you resonate with and care about, and a story that grips you and makes you want to discover more. Welcome to the new era of ecchi novels, and thank you for your patience as I learn the programs I need to know to bring you this content!
