Today I worked on the following of Karlton scene and a bit on graphic assets!
First, there was a scene at the Nursery to finish. The scene itself is fairly short but, as usual, with one choice and four different maturity levels, it takes time to integrate and playtest.
As you see, there's two meters for the Nursery scenes. One is for Eclair's maturity, of course, and the other is the suspicion meter. The idea was that Eclair have to act babyish (and then gain maturity points) in order to keep Valerie's suspicion low.
In the future, we should have a default scene if the Suspicion meter is too high that lead automaticaly to a bad ending.
Like most of the other choices, this one can lead to a bad ending if Eclair is immature enough.
Once the scene is done, we're back in control of Fiona. Depending on what the player choose, Fiona can have one of two things in her pocession.
An USB Driver or some secret papers. I did the graphic assets for both and integrate it to the game.
I ended the day by doing some linework on the beautiful sketch Black Rayal gave for the game.
There's still light and shadows left to do, and a background, and that should be it!
Next week, I'll continue to integrate more dialogue, end the picture below and work a bit on Npc dialogue!
