“Screw you, assholes.” OK, Poppy, I am totally on board with you sticking a finger up at everyone whispering around you! They have a point, tiger needs to work on his behaviour. BUT I see she recognises part - PART - of why he’s suddenly so salty and I understand her protectiveness of him. I feel the exact same way. But he doesn’t get a full pass from me because he’s still acting like a bit of a dick. Calling him out is one of my favourite things to do. I ADORE this man, but he’s still a douche sometimes. Ha! God then he has to go and do something that makes me feel bad for him! That sweat drop when he realises the boat renter is an ex cop - JOE *sobbing* - and then clutching at his tattoos knowing how this is going to go, I did also want to smother him in my bubble wrap too. It rankles me so much that people get judged as soon as they see tattoos. It’s expressive, creative and feels good. And he has some of the most beautiful designs. Mine are a huge part of who I am, and I dare anyone to tell me they don’t like them, or wouldn’t employ me etc because of them. Tora just gets it worse because of his automatic resting bitch face and height. But of course Poppy has his back and has shown him time and again she has. Hmmm, that hand grab from Tora, was that to get her out of there quickly because this sharp woman wasn’t buying what they were selling at first, or because he was looking for an anchor in the moment? Or as a form of protection from the woman’s judgements. I’ve no doubt he knew what she was reaching for. Tables have turned though, Poppy is just as quick to release his hand as he was before. Love how quick Poppy is to defend his tattoos! She’s taking no prisoners in here and I love to see her stand up for the cause. Tora’s blush just seals it for me. “...nice reflexes. Modelling school trained ya well, I see…” I mean clearly she wasn’t believing the story, but that throw was something else! And he didn’t even flinch as he caught them! Saving that little moment in my memory bank. Oh Louise, what the fuck did chin hairs do to you!! I think my heart was racing along with hers during that. The suspense is giving me more grey hair than I already have!

I'm wondering if he's now also worried that it will sort of rub off on Poppy too, and he's trying to avoid that. like i wouldn't be surprised if that's why he pulled away, right after those guys checked on them. they worried/assumed there was something bad happening because of how Tora looks, so now he's worried that people will start making assumptions about Poppy too, if they spend too much time together
