アヤカは、夕暮れ時の静かな家路を歩くのがいつものことだと思っていた…ところが、黒猫が目に留まった。彼女は猫と戯れずにはいられず、時間が経つのを甘く見つめた。しかし、辺りがすっかり暗くなっていたことに気づいた時には、すでに手遅れだった。

最初の雨粒が落ち、パニックが彼女の顔に走った。制服が一歩ごとにきつく張り付くように走り出したが、嵐は容赦なかった。びしょ濡れで息も絶え絶えになり、彼女は路地に身を隠し、雨宿りできる場所を探した。ところが、彼女は足を滑らせ、濡れた地面に倒れ込んだ。

その時、全てが起こった。誰にも見られたくなかった自分の一部。彼女の秘密。✨

彼女の足が光り始めた。最初はかすかに、そして心臓が鼓動するたびに明るくなった。彼女は小さくすすり泣き、濡れた靴下と靴を脱ぎ捨てた。まるで避けられない運命を先延ばしにするかのように。しかし、今となっては誰もそれを止めることはできなかった。つま先が押し合わされ、水かきができ、繊細な鱗が脚に広がっていく。
