This is the work in progress of the next drawing. Vinyl seems to love Octavia's ass. :P
Under normal circunstances I should have shown this to you yesterday, but unfortunately I was dealing with some problems that didn't let me focus on the drawing.
As much as I like drawing girls on the beach, I realized I should find another ways to make it visually interesting. This time I've tried two details. One is a different brush for the clouds. Drawing the same clouds with the same brush might be underwhelming for the people who follow my work. First I've drawn the clouds with one color. Then, I've done the same thing with a different color. It took me much less time than I expected. The second detail is the dutch angle. In the later years I realized I like this type of shot in movies (although I don't like its use in movies such as Slumdog Millionaire), so I think it could be nice to do it.
These two details are based on another references I've found in my hard disc drive, so it's nice to do the same thing in different ways.
Things I need to add:
-Shadows on Vinyl and Octavia
-Brightness
-Refining the water waving (it needs to be less noticeable in the horizon)
-Some extra layers of hue/saturation, curves and color balance (the sand needs to be more noticeable, but not too much).
If I don't have any problem, the final result will be ready for tomorrow.
I've said many times that I use references for my drawings. Don't be shy to send me some references if you find something that would work for that purpose in the future.
Thanks for the support!
